Section 27-229
§ 27-229 Application of terms. The words and terms listed in this
subchapter shall have the meanings given herein. Where terms are not
defined they shall have their ordinarily accepted meanings or such as
the context may imply.
Section 27-230
§ 27-230 Definitions in reference standards. Definitions that appear
in any building code reference standard shall apply to the provisions of
that reference standard only.
Section 27-231
§ 27-231 Tense, gender, and number. Words used in the present tense
include the future; words used in the masculine gender include the
feminine and neuter; words used in the singular include the plural, and
the plural the singular.
